Compulsive Musk - La Serra

Compulsive Musk addresses the second main aspect of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, compulsions, which are more or less conscious actions often performed in response to obsessions. They can have different themes (order, precision, cleanliness...), but they all share a common characteristic: the momentary sense of relief provided by the repetition of these behaviors. Providing an olfactory counterpart to this sensation is a particular type of Musk, created by Firmenich, which boasts a Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1939 for 90 years of study on this note that was once extracted directly from the Musk Deer (a type of deer) and is now perfectly reconstituted for ethical reasons. The clean, crystalline blend of Compulsive Musk is made more substantial and intriguing thanks to two other natural dominant notes: Guaiac Wood and Indonesian Patchouli, also of Certified Origin and extracted using Sustainable Practices.
